Yes Peoples!
As you’ve probably noticed, I haven’t posted anything for the past couple days, because I PinBoard was filled to the brim with too many BIG things, that I wanted everyone to have a chance to see/read/watch/experience. During my non-posting time I caught up with family, homies, TV, reading and the billions of blogs I’ve abandoned for a while (peep the blog roll for a sample of the goodness!).
ANYWAYS! I’m back today and things should be back to normal i.e. you’ll continue to get ‘Hooked The F*** Up’…!
Gonna start with this new Brandy joint. It’s been a minute since Brandy has had anything new out and it’s been a even longer minute since she’s had a “hit” < real talk.
So check out her latest offering…
I find it strange that she’s struggled to have an impact recently, coz I always thought Brandy had a lot to offer, but let’s be real – her music, as of late, has been pretty wack? I’m saying that because the Brandy I think is dope is the Brandy that sang “I Wanna Be Down”, “Sitting Up In My Room” and released [that SERIOUS] “Never Say Never” album, and we ain’t got that kinda heat from her in a while!
And while this tune is very similar to the kinda stuff she’s been releasing over the past few years, I actually like it. I think it’s a cool tune…Will it be a big smash? I really don’t think so, but I’ll be pumping it fo’ sure!
