This is the first installment of imeem’s “Keys to the City” series and it sets it’s focus on D.C and features man of the moment, Wale. As [most of] you know, “The Mixtape About Noting” was released yesterday and if you’ve heard it, you’ll understand why Wale deserves this spotlight. It’s a cool watch, hearing some of Wale’s picks for artists/videos from him hometown. The next installment will be centered around Philadelphia, hometown to The Roots and Diplo etc…
