50 Cent To Sign New £150 Million Deal

Fiddy Pence is in talks to sign a serious deal that will pump some (more) serious paper into this account! The dude is so clearly hard up on cash! But anyways, 50 is set to enter a deal with the guy who sold his soul to the devil Rupert Murdoch – you know, that dude who owns Myspace and the World!

50 Cent is reportedly set to sign a deal with News Corporation that could be worth around £150 million to the rapper.

The mega bucks deal would encompass the entire business of 50 Cent. Including his touring, merchandise and G-Unit Record label.

This has become known as a 360 deal in the music business. With Madonna and Jay-Z recently signing similar deals with touring company Live Nation.

Fiddy is still under contract to Interscope Records and is not expected to sign his deal with News Corporation until next year. [Source: MTV]

Don’t really get why this (the big number deal) is all happening now? We were under the impression that 50 Cent was on his way out? Is he still popular? Errrryone knows his album sales (however large) are on the decline. KanYe kinda smacked him up a bit too with the whole “Clash of the Titans” saga!
