Inspired by POST ABOVE, we remembered Britney’s collabo with Madonna - ”Me against the Music” – killer track.
So who did it better?
ORIGINALITY:
Well Britney and Justin both seem to be copying/taking influence from the OG king of Pop Micheal, Britney via the dancing and and Justin via the vocals. No points.
IMAGERY:
Of course Britney now seems a bit dated, but in terms of effort that went in, time and money spent, Britney wins hands down. Sorry Madge it is not that hard to grab a few cars and get a supermarket to lock-down for the day. (Lest she built it, cos lets face it, SHE can!) 1 point to Britney.
THE MADONNA FACTOR:
Justin not only has Madonna but also has Timberland in this video, not that Timberland helped it? What was the point of that first 17 sec of him chanting? Should have been cut, but we do appreciate when the beat drops and Ms Madge slides down the car. Automatic 1 point to Justin
In Me Against The Music, Britney and Madonna have a dance off and lets face it, it was Britney at her best, pre-Perez Hilton days. Fresh faced Britney who we all hope will return to form. No points for Britney but props to Madge!
WHO HAS WON?
Seems as though we have a tie, the only way to break it? Britney, Justin and Madonna must do a track. We say for Madge’s 60th! She’ll probably look younger than both of them!!
