I saw Cuba Gooding do a hand spin or some shit on an awards show—that’s very coonish to me. I can’t remember what Taye Diggs did, but I didn’t know he was married to a white woman. You know who my hero is? Richard Pryor. He was married seven times. My favorite wife of his is Debra, one of the white girls.

Reports claim that singer, songwriter and all round crack head Amy Winehouse is planning to leave her current record label Island/Universal, as soon as she completes and releases her third album.

It has been claimed by The Sun newspaper, that Winehouse will set up her own label and through it put out her music and that of her mates – Remi Nicole and Tyler James. They also report that Amy believes she should take control of her £10 million fortune and doesn’t want others making money out of her…

Yep, surely the best idea for someone who’s as messed up as Amy Winehouse is to leave her current label, set up a new one (on her own), be responsible for not only hers but two other artists’ careers AND take control of her hefty stash of cash – Yea Amy, you do that…

The way this chick has turned out is just crazy. We all know it’s now ‘normal’ to see Amy Winehouse looking less like a Grammy Award winner and more like Camden Town street walker and it’s easy to forget what she used to look like pre-crack…

It is really easy to fob this dude off as ‘just another UK R&B singer, trying to be American”, but in fairness, the dude is pretty talented. The PinBoard Crew have met the man a few times now and have seen him live – the dude pretty much does everything: Writes, produces, DJ’s…the lot. His album is a bit ‘Tween R&B-ish’ and isn’t necessarily our kinda thing, but he does have some pretty solid tracks on there, including “I Can Be”, “Like a Star”  and “I’ll Never Love Again”

Ok hold up. Just wait a hot minute…!

First we had Whitney Houston and Ray J, we still ain’t ‘got that’ but now, now…the word is Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are engaged? Er…What the heck??

It’s been reported over the past few weeks that Mimi has been dating Kenan and Kel star Nick Cannon for some time now, but of course we never believed it, coz honestly, why would she? Money? LOL. Anyways, at the premiere of Mariah’s new movie “Tennessee” (let’s pray it’s better than “Glitter”!), she was seen sporting a rather large rock on her engagement finger (pictured).

Now, we get why rumours would start, but to be honest, we’re just assuming Mariah likes to rock ice…BIG ice…Like, sink the Titanic-type ice! So, we’re still in the “ain’t believing it/denial” stage of this rumour. It HAS to be bull – Surely!?!?!

Having said that, the ‘couple’ were meant to have been seen getting kinda close and holding hands @ the Tribeca film festival and…it’s also been reported that Nick and MC took a private jet (who grabbed the cheque?) into Las Vages and were sighted up close and personal in the VIP section of a nightclub. But again, just rumours – no proof as of yet!

In a recent interview with MTV US Cannon avoided any confirmation or denial of the pairs relationship, instead he simply stated that “Rumours happen”. And lets not forget – MC has said, maaany a-times, that she’d never get hitched again. Hmmm…?

…Lets wait and see how this pans out
