The Roots are legendary, we know this…And they’re back…Did you know this?
There’s really no point in us trying to convince you about this titanic rap group, if you’re not convinced thus far, you probably never will be. It’s hard to conceive any Hip Hop fan (or music fan for that matter) who do not dig The Roots. Their jazz, funk, electro, groove, drum & bass filled Hip Hop is nothing less than inspiring, thought provoking and straight up crazy [in that very good way]. They have been around forever and have yet to come out with anything less than outstanding – and i’m sure if they had, it would have more to do with our lack of understanding, and less to do with their lack of quality [that's how much we trust them!]
This track has been floating around the TinterNet for some time now, so we thought we’d pop it up for you good people to have a listen. It’s rather big. The track is taken from their up-and-coming 10TH (yes, 10th!) album “Rising Down”, set for an April 2008 release.
