We’re BIG Danity Kane fans here @ PinBoard! Yep, you can call them Pop, but sometimes Pop is cool. This is cool Pop! The chicks have some serious voices, serious beats and serious tunes on their new album “Welcome To The Dollhouse”. They did it big on their first album and while the new set is definitely more pop…its still sounds great.

Day26 have great voices – we know this. If you’ve been following Diddy’s Making The Band 4 – you’ll also know this. So naturally we were expecting great things from their album….Well, the PinBoard crew got their hands on a copy of the new joint and lets just say…it’s less than impressive.

The vocals are great. But it’s just…boring. Mundane, slow, not-at-all exciting ballads and generic R&B songs all the way through. If you’re gonna do that kind of an album at least make it a throwback. Like a little Jodeci, Dru Hill vibe? And if you decide that’s not the way to go – then at least make it something new & fresh.  It’s just very…Blah.

If you like slow, lovey-dovey R&B – you’ll love the Day26 album.

Recommendation: Get Danity Kane’s album “Welcome To The Dollhouse” and look out for this track:
